Since January 2009 Malmsjö GVI is no longer supported by Tascam, and will not be further updated. We are therefore selling out our remaining stock. The software currently works on Windows XP (Service Pack 2, and Service Pack 3) and Windows Vista. In the final release of the software which is now available, the previous bug of an incorrectly mapped note is fixed.

It comes with its own GVI playback engine, based on Tascam's GigaStudio technology, and can be used as a stand-alone application, or as a VSTi plugin on PC computers. Malmsjö GVI features Tascam's proprietary DEF filters for enhanced dynamics, and also includes custom Larry Seyer impulse responses for the included convolution effect engine. Malmsjö GVI includes a Synchrosoft USB dongle with the product license, and the software can be installed and used on any PC computer as long as the dongle is connected.
